Rio Bravo/Volcanos Loop

A loop ride on the West side of Albuquerque with a nice little climb up the West Mesa. A decent short ride in its own right, it's also sometimes used to add extra miles onto the Slick 50 (or whatever).
From UNM:

S on Yale from UNM
W on Randolph
Randolph will curve to the S under an underpass and become University.
W on Rio Bravo, which will Become Dennis Chavez after Coors. There will be a long gentle climb up the west mesa.
At the top go N on Artisco Vista and Continue over I-40 past nice views of the volcanos on the right.
E on Paseo del Norte. There is a paralell bike path as well as a decent shoulder on Paseo.
Right on Rainbow, there is aslo a paralell bike path on Rainbow for part of the way.
Right on Unser.
E on Montano.  After you cross Coors but before you get to the River you can get off on the bikepath across the bridge.
Once on the east bank you can take the bosque bikepath S to get back.

Note: Rio Bravo between Broadway and Isleta is not the safest road in NM, as there is a lot of traffic and people tend to speed. There is a pretty wide shoulder though.
