Fruit Loop

A loop ride entirely within the Albuquerque city limits. This vast majority of this ride is on dedicated bike paths - oops I mean mixed use trails: Ride N on the Diversion Channel path, then the path just S of and parallel to Paseo del Norte and the Bosque path. It's a nice lunch time or recovery ride. It's also often used to tack extra miles onto the Slick 50. The ride's name is derived from the fact that it passes by the General Mills plant - at Paseo del Norte and the Diversion path - which often emits a lovely smell of fresh-out-of-the-oven fruit pies. (This is one of Steve Mattias' routes off the old site.)  (I do not know that the General Mills plant actually makes pies, but they do make Capitan Crunch cereal wirth Crunchberries. --H.M.)
