Rio Bravo / Central Loop

A loop ride on the West side of Albuquerque with a nice little climb up the West Mesa. A decent short ride in its own right, it's also sometimes used to add extra miles onto the Slick 50 (or whatever). From UNM:

• Ride S on Yale to Avenida Ceasar Chavez.
• Turn right on Avenida Ceasar Chavez and ride W to Broadway.
• Turn left on Broadway and ride S to Rio Bravo.
• Turn right on Rio Bravo and ride W across the Rio Grande and up the West Mesa.
• Once up on the West Mesa, the road makes a 90-degree turn to the N. Ride N to Central/I-40
• Turn right on Central and ride E back into town.
