Description

The ever popular ride to the top of Sandia Crest - scenic and challenging.
  • Take your favorite route to Tramway/Central at the mouth of Tijeras Canyon.
  • Ride E on Highway 333 (aka Route 66) to Tijeras. Go a little further E to the junction with Highway 14.
  • Ride N on Highway 14 to the junction with Highway 536 (Crest road) and Highway 306 (Frost road). This is known as "The Triangle".
  • Ride W and N on Highway 536 to the top.
