Date: Sat, 27 Jul 2002 23:31:12 -0600 To: bike-racers@swcp.cpm From: SchoenyTO@aol.com Subject: [NMCycling] Results 2002 RGRT/ANASAZI DOUBLE EAGLE TT SERIES #1 DOUBLE EAGLE TIME TRIAL SERIES 9.2 Miles 24, 31 July, 7, 14, 21 August 2002 Thanks for the fantastic turnout. We had 73 riders and 76 starts, one of the largest, if not the largest, turnout for a week night event in Albuquerque that I know of. Thanks again from your chief ref, that's me - tim schoeny (shaney). READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE REVIEWING THE RESULTS The results were posted at the event before the last riders came in. I'll try to read your chicken scratchings to create an email list to send the results to. Otherwise I expect you to have the common COURTESY of sticking around to see the posted results. If you would like to talk to me about your result my home number is 275-3216. However if you call after 2100 hours I will call you back after I get up to start my work day which is 0330 (and I'm not LOL). Do not call VOLUNTEERS who helped out with regristration, turn around, reading badly placed numbers, or who did any of the other things it takes to put on a race that you only have to pay $4.00 to enter. Bill High/Tim Price are the promoters and their information is on the flyer. I'm the chief ref, chief judge, chief timer, and starter. You know who I am and you have my home number. Your race number belongs on your left side, placed vertically as you stand, starting under your underarm, with the bottom of the number toward your stomach, not your spine. Event #1 73 Riders, 76 starts. Thanks to Laurie and Tristan Price (reg), Ed Burke (turn), Lew Metzger (finish numbers/order), Leann Bartolino (start/finish order) and Bill High (course setup, permits, police coordination, and sponsor) #2 NOTE: officiating duties to be performed by Jim & Leann Bartolino this night. This will be their first time running this event. Help, understanding, and courtesy are required to participant this night. #3 #4 #5 Questions, comments, corrections to fat fingering in 70+ lines of data - Tim @ 275-3216 or schoenyto@aol.com Bike Racing in New Mexico: nmcycling.org and subscribe to bike-racers@swcp.com Name Age Jul24 31 Aug 7 15 22 Team Junior Women Tristan Price 16 26:35 Concrete Systems (RGRT) Junior Men Adam Switters 15 22:22 Sacramento Golden Whlmen Mike Neal 17 22:48 KHSnm Matt Harwood 16 23:15 Velo del Norte Jack Metzger 14 23:20 Ochsner Vince Metzger 16 23:43 Ochsner Chris Osburn 18 23:45 KHSnm Tim Osburn 15 24:12 KHSnm Alex Luce 16 24:35 Velo del Norte Eric Hardrath 17 25:46 Ochsner Bryson Sewell 13 26:16 Velo del Norte Andrew Kersh 13 28:22 Concrete Systems (RGRT) Weston Ross 13 34:34 Senior Women 19-29 Nina Baum 28 26:00 Andrea Edmonds 27 31:52 Senior Men 19-29 John Parker 27 21:22 Aush Technologies (NMVS) Darian Founds 25 21:22 Aush Technologies (NMVS) Harris Moskowitz 29 21:53 Darryl Dagel 28 22:33 Aush Technologies (NMVS) Brian Key 22 22:33 Aush Technologies (NMVS) Mike Szabo 21 23:55 Brandon Boucher 19 24:52 Anthony Medina 20 27:33 Senior Women 30-39 Katie Ostrom 33 26:36 Team Spin Cycle Senior Men 30-39 Todd Bauer 31 20:12 KHSnm Lee Fitzgerald 30 20:46 Aush Technologies (NMVS) Jamie Ryan-White 32 20:58 KHSnm Jeff Smith 39 21:26 KHSnm Bart Bowen 35 21:41 Ochsner Scott Hubbard 31 22:01 Lee Souders 34 22:10 Aush Technologies (NMVS) Jeff Melvin 34 22:36 Aush Technologies (NMVS) Stuart Maloy 35 27:26 Fred Rael 31 29:58 Learrael Racing Bob Ostrom 32 31:52 Team Spin Cycle Todd Hynson 35 DNF Senior Women 40-49 Valerie Lawrence 47 24:30 Paula Higgins 43 25:26 Landis Janet Metzger 45 26:56 Ochsner Teresa Latham 47 28:21 Ellen Kersh 42 28:32 Concrete Systems (RGRT) Debra Switters 48 29:13 Sacramento Golden Whlmen Senior Men 40-49 Louis Abruzzo 47 21:54 Mark Forsythe 46 22:24 Aush Technologies (NMVS) Mark Switters 47 22:28 Sacramento Golden Whlmen Mike Szabo 44 22:49 Ochsner Tony Pomo 41 23:28 Aush Technologies (NMVS) Kyle Ross 44 24:33 Bill Fox 45 24:41 Ochsner Tony Geller 45 25:09 Aush Technologies (NMVS) Keith McKay 42 25:09 Aush Technologies (NMVS) Tom Kartner 47 25:58 Anthony Martinez 45 26:01 Ochsner Mike Gilb 45 26:10 Daniel Heintzman 46 26:44 Steve Finch 40 27:04 Blake Osburn 43 27:53 KHSnm Fritz Eberle 45 DNF Senior Women 50-59 Tove Shere 50 23:59 Ochsner Cynthia Cooper 56 28:15 Aush Technologies (NMVS) Senior Men 50-59 Phil Shew 59 22:05 Aush Technologies (NMVS) Jack Groves 55 23:13 Aush Technologies (NMVS) Woody Woodruff 59 24:26 Concrete Systems (RGRT) Paul Gourley 50 24:27 Dave Neal 51 24:54 Whiteline Cycling Club Jerry Shere 59 26:32 Ochsner Dan Farris 54 29:24 Senior Women 60-69 Dorella Skrementa 68 39:08 Senior Men 60-69 Tom Hendricks 66 23:32 Aush Technologies (NMVS) Jim McGirk 60 24:50 Aush Technologies (NMVS) Senior Men 70+ Bill High 76 32:15 Concrete Systems (RGRT) Tandem Marvin, 51/53 22:49 Dean & Lee TEAM Team KHSnm 21:42 2 Jrs ages 18, 17 Team Velo del Norte 24:38 3 Jrs ages 16, 16, 13 Team Ochsner 26:52 3 Jrs ages 17, 16, 14 Double Eagle Time Trial Series American Cycling Assoc Permit # NM 02702 23, 31 July, 7, 14, 21 August 2002 First rider off 1800 (6:00 pm) Last rider off 1900 Registration 1730 to 1830 Entry Fee $4.00 One-Day ACA license available @ $5.00 Checks payable to Rio Grande Racing Team Random start order at 1 minute intervals (or maybe 30 seconds due to turnout) Come to start line when you are ready Course is 9.2 miles out and back From intersection of I-40 and I-25 West to Exit # 149, Paseo Del Volcan, North (right) 1/4 mile Park on West side of Road Warm-up on I-40 Frontage Road ONLY Stay off pavement adjacent to parking and start areas unless you are in line to start - we must keep this road clear!
